Jeremy Rine Obituary
NEWARK: A Celebration of Life Service, for Jeremy L. Rine, 36 of Newark, will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 7:00 PM at Family of Faith Community Church, 975 Mt. Vernon Road, Newark with Pastor Curtis Martin officiating. Calling hours will be held at the church on Wednesday, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. A private family burial will be held on Thursday.
Jeremy was born in Newark on February 5, 1976 to Ralph and Diana (Freeman) Rine of Newark. He passed away on April 20, 2012 at Licking Memorial Hospital.
Jeremy graduated from Newark High School, Class of 1995. He was the owner/operator of Always Soft Carpet Cleaning and Restoration. He was a member of Family of Faith Community Church and Faith Life Church in New Albany. Jeremy was an ordained minister and the founder of Refuel, which is a ministry that was established to give young people a place to hang out and listen to music. His desire was to establish relationships with them and to share the love of Jesus in this community. Jeremy was a mentor to people of all ages, he loved God, knew no stranger and loved everyone he met. He enjoyed motorcycling, four wheeling and dirt biking with his sons, golfing and was an avid Chicago Bears fan.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his high school sweetheart and wife, Jamie (Gladden) Rine, whom he married June 22, 1996; his two sons, Dontay and Payton Rine of the home; three sisters, Trisha (Todd) Bowman of Lincolnton, NC, Tonya (Seth) D'amato of Newark and Tessa (Joseph) Beck of Thornville; maternal grandparents, Ronald and Patricia Freeman; paternal grandparents, Gail and Bertie Hill; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Rine family,
I was heart broken to learn only today of Jeremy's passing. My memories of Jeremy, from as far back as nearly 20 years, are those of absolute fondness. He was always such a nice young man, and always willing to help. I have been greatly encouraged hearing the testimonies of others as they speak of his love of Jesus! I know Jeremy will be greatly missed, but I pray you continue to witness to his own witness... God will bless this tragic moment. I pray for the peace of Christ among you all...

God is calling his children home. Praise the Lord that Jeremy was a smart man whom God had chosen to know him from before he was. My prayers are with your family as you have lost a beautiful person. Jamie, I am so sorry that Jeremy is gone. You are in my prayers, so are your boys. I remember when you two started dating in high school. Some of the best times to be had as a youth were at the Family of Faith Community Church youth group. Jeremy and the entire Rine family were and still are a huge staple in the communtiy and the loss will be felt far more than imagined. May the family find peace and solice knowing all the wonderful memories they've shared and the lives Jeremy touched. As you continue on in this world keep your lights burning bright. Rine Family,
No words can express how sorry and sadden I am for you. Jeremy was such an awesome, on fire for God man. He had such an impact on Newark for starting up Refuel. I remember when I was in the hospital, Jeremy, Jamie, and Chris came to visit me. That's a memory that I will never forget.
