Wayne S. Lehoe, Sr.

NEWARK: A memorial service for Wayne S. Lehoe, Sr., age 47, of Newark, will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 22, at the Newark Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta-Stickle Funeral & Cremation Service, 59 North Fifth Street, Newark, with Pastor John Hays officiating. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Wayne passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 2, 1964 in Akron, Ohio.

Wayne was employed with Hutchinson Excavating in Alexandria.

He is survived by a son, Wayne S. Lehoe, Jr. of Newark; mother, Alice (Williamson) Williams of Chillicothe; step-daughter, Misty Jones of Newark; step-son, Travis Jones of Newark; twelve grandchildren; three sisters, Rebecca (Lloyd) Hoffer of Zanesville, Irene (Joe) Bentley of Hanover and Lynn (Tim) Thomas of Zanesville; two brothers, Chris (Abbie) Lehoe of Newark and Matt (Stacy) Lehoe of Newark; three sisters-in-law, Kimberly Kay (Lester) Collins of Newark, Brenda Lee (Steve) Carroll of Newark and Melinda Sue (Mark) Burnsworth of Alexandria; brother-in-law, Frankie Lee (Pam) Cunningham, Sr. of Toboso; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wendy Ann (Cunningham) Lehoe, on December 6, 2008; and by his father, Edward George Lehoe.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
