Andrew Horner Obituary

Andrew Horner of Northeast Harbor, Maine and formerly of New Bern passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017.
Andy was born on February 24, 1949, in Fayetteville, NC and 7 years later he and his family moved to New Bern. Andy was the son of the late Doug and Elaine Horner. He was a 1967 graduate of New Bern High School and a 1971 graduate of St. Andrews College.
Andy is survived by his loving wife, Jackie Bachman, their children Jared, Bronwyn, and Jason and their grandchildren Ethan, Emma and Libby. Andy is also survived by his siblings Bay and husband Bruce, Lynda and husband Brian, and Randy, niece Laura, nephews Ben and wife Sarah, William, John David, and Nathan. Also surviving are his Aunt Anne Horner, Aunt Harriet Childs and Uncle Closs Barker, as well as many loving cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held in Northeast Harbor, Maine at a later date.

Jackie,
Andy and I spent many good times together in New Bern and Durham years ago as kids. Although I have not seen him for many years, I will remember those times and the fine man he was.
