Carolyn Smith Obituary
Carolyn Smith, age 88 of Newport, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her husband Von Smith, son Michael Smith, daughter Brenda Smith, foster daughter Gail Holt, and sister Emma Hurley Hill.
She is survived by her grandsons Kreg Smith, Trevor Von (Cara) Smith and great-grandsons, Carter, Cam and Cade Smith, daughter-in-law Sherrie Smith, niece Marsha (Connie) Ball, nephews Larry (Carol) Hurley and Gray (Janie) Hurley, Jr., and other family and friends.
The family would like to say a special "Thank You" to the staff of Wellington Manor for the care she received and also to Shawnee Driscoll and Cheryl and Michael Black.
The family received friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2022 in the Manes Funeral Home West Chapel.
Funeral Service followed at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in the Manes Funeral Home West Chapel where Pastor Jason Boone officiated.
Burial will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in the Clay Creek Cemetery.
