SAVOY - David Clarence Well, 59, passed away Thursday, July 31, 2025, at home in Savoy.
David was a devoted father, grandfather, son, brother, firefighter and friend to many.
David was born on Sept. 23, 1965, in Mattoon, to Clarence and Trudy (Tenty) Well.
David was a devoted firefighter and instructor for 32 years, retiring as assistant fire chief of the Savoy Fire Department in 2015. He owned and successfully operated Turf Management.
He will be greatly missed by his two daughters, DeAnna (Bramer) Webb and Victoria Bramer; as well as his grandchildren.
David was preceded in death by parents.
Visitation will be from 3 to 4 p.m. followed by a memorial at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17, at Morgan Memorial Home, Savoy.
Morgan Memorial Home, 1304 Regency Drive West, Savoy, is handling the arrangments.
