They had a son, John Leslie Prutsman, and he preceded him in death on Dec. 24, 2010. Everett went on to marry Mary Rose Hart on June 26, 1997, and she preceded him in death on Nov. 7, 2007. He then married Evelyn Enderton on June 9, 2009, and she preceded him in death on Aug. 23, 2022.
Surviving are four grandchildren, Wendy (Tony) Price, Michael (Nikki) Prutsman, Daniel (Elizabeth) Prutsman and Randy Prutsman; three great-grandchildren, Dillon Price, Dane (Elizabeth) Price and Madison Price; and two great-great-grandchildren, Harper and Harrison Price.
He was a decorated Korean War veteran. He was employed at Alltel until his retirement, when he and Lois moved to Florida. He lived there for 26 years. He was in a bowling league up until this past year, when his eyesight got too bad. While still living in Tolono, he loved to build bicycles and sell them. Everyone knew that he could fix their bike or get a bike from him. He also enjoyed scraping and sorting metals and recycling.
He loved his family fiercely and did anything and everything to help us at any turn. He always enjoyed lending a hand on any project. "I honestly don't think my grandfather ever told me 'no' until I was in my 40s, and I couldn't believe it when he did," Wendy said.
