DANVILLE - James Edward "Jim" Dokey, 79, died at 7:44 a.m. Wednesday (Jan. 10, 2024) in the emergency room at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center, Danville.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the United Church of Tilton, 520 W. Fifth St., Tilton. Pastor Darin Perkins will officiate. Burial will be in Jones Grove Cemetery, Catlin. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the church. Robison Chapel, 103 Douglas St., Catlin, is in charge of arrangements.

I AM SENDING THIS FOR MY HUSBAND MIKE KENNRDY. HE TOLD ME WHAT GOOD FRIENDS THEY WHERE. RAN AROUND ALOT IN YOUNGER DAYS. HE WAS GOING O COME TO VISITATION, BUT HE ENDED UP AT CARLE HEART CENTER. SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSE. JOYCE KENNEDY
