Joan Kingery Obituary
ARTHUR - Joan Kingery, 89, of Arthur died at 9:48 p.m. Monday (April 3, 2023) at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Shrader Funeral Home, 431 S. Vine St., Arthur. Pastor Bob Silvanik will officiate. Burial will be in Cartwright Cemetery, Tuscola. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Dave and I send our sympathy to all of Aunt Joan´s family.
I am going to miss our conversations by telephone and visits when I was in Illinois. We enjoyed and even became excited when we discovered something new about family history. All of us who are descendants of Oscar and Stella Kingery owe her so very much for the organization of our family information.

Our sympathy to the Kingerys at the loss of their mother/grandmother and my Aunt Joan. She was sweet to me. When I was in grade school one September, she bought a "Pop Bead" Necklace and gave it to me to give my mom for her birthday so I had a present to give her. At that time, "Pop Beads" were popular. You may be too young to remember them. I have wonderful memories of my Aunt Joan as I grew up.
