Having worked with Betty at Halifax Medical Center, remembering her as someone with a delightful personality, we laughed every day, and always took up for each other.I wonder why my Christmas card was returned last year. She loved life, and especially her son Linn, and daughter-in-law. God Bless you Betty, and much prayers sent to you and your family. Your Friend, Rita.

I'll always love and miss my mother-in-law, Betty. I'll miss her laugh and how her voice would lift when I called. I will miss her telling us all that she was doing. She was always cheerful, really enjoyed life and was never unkind to anyone. Betty loved being involved with various organizations and clubs, including the Sr. Theater, and was an inspiration to others senior or not, that life was not over after 70! Many people would comment: "I want to be like Betty at that age". She was a good friend to all who knew her, a wonderful mother to Linn and a wonderful mother-in-law and friend to me. Linn and I will always have many happy memories of her.

I miss you Mom, I will always miss you! I had so much fun being with you the last few months, I was happy to be of service to you, and to help you get to appointments nad to do things with and for you. I enjoyed our little walks together at Sunrise Park and getting grits from Peach Valley for you. You really liked their grits! I hope and pray that I honored you as the Bible says to and that I did a good job of taking care of you. I tried to do my best for you, but you went so soon. With your passing, I will always be lonely, a hole that cannot be filled . I am grateful to God for the parents I had and the many years they were with me, thank you Lord, for you gave me the best!
I will always love and miss you Mom, and I am sorry you are not here to comfort me. But I hope and pray to see you and Dad again in Heaven.
Love Linn
