Elizabeth Watson Obituary

CROSSVILLE, Tenn. - Elizabeth M. Watson, 87, of Crossville, Tenn., a former forty-year resident of New Smyrna Beach, died Friday at Cumberland Medical Center, Crossville. Ms. Watson, a dress designer and former owner of Betty's Dress Shop, New Smyrna Beach, was born in Montreal. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, the Elks Club, Moose Lodge and New Smyrna Beach Yacht Club. She enjoyed animals and snow skiing. Survivors include a son, Peter Layzell, Crossville; two daughters, Yvonne York, Daytona Beach, and Dawn Moore, Astor; a brother, William Brown, Fort Lauderdale; three sisters, Dorothy Redfern, Mildred Davies and Vera Atto, all of Canada; and three grandchildren. Cardwell & Maloney, Port Orange, is in charge.
