I can’t believe we never met. Your cousins Anya and Yalisa are like sisters to me. If I want to smile, I think of your wacky aunts Rosana and Ilsa and their adventures. I know all about the crush Noelia had on you when you guys were little, I’ve met your dad and I’ve heard Jonathan mention you lots of times. I guess that’s why I feel like I knew you.
Please know that you are missed and that you will be remembered today and always with every conversation, every memory, every photo. I look forward to a day when we have a chance to meet.

i never knew joaco lee, but i know his mother and brothers. having lost a child myself, all i can say is no mother should have to go through this pain. what a tragic loss. i knew of him through amie, who talked of him often. i oten want to stop at the crash site and think of this young life snuffed out so early...please get the DOT to install a lollipop for him. don't let him be forgotten.

Desde que te fuiste sentí una gran tristeza en mi corazón. Siempre eras la alegría de la familia, cuando venias a Puerto Rico te recibíamos con la más grande emoción, ya que transmitías una energía tan agradable de la cual tuve el privilegio de disfrutar. The time we share,the long conversations, the many laughs and yes the fights, all them I treasure deep in my heart.
When I set you free to go home, I never would thought I will never see you again, I would of never let you go. I only knew that your titi was on overload and I could not handle it, I think you understood. Pupo and Grandma were always there for you and you were there for them when they needed you, I love you and We thank you for all your help. Joaco was a man that was so important in my life! I loved him and will never forget him! I have so many perfect memories of him, but none are more cherished then the last time I saw him the day he died! He was a great friend and so much more to me. Laurie, Josh, and Rico~
I know that words can't even come close to how we all feel about Joaco. There are so many storys to share, The one thing I miss the most about him is his positive attitude on life, He was always there for any of his friends and family. He made me see that family is who you make it. I could call Joaco at 1 or 3 in the morning ~ which I did alot;) ~ and I just knew he was going to answer. He was the love of my life, and I feel so lucky to have been a part of his for so long. He really changed my world for the better.. and I know that I'm a better person for having known him and his family. You guys will always be a part of my family and in my heart. I knew Joac through JR [who is like a big brother to me]. He was such a good person, still is. I know he will watch over his loved ones while he is relaxing in a better place. I will never forget him and neither will anyone who has met him. I willnever forget all the days and nights on the porch and in the attick with him and friends. We love you Joac. Joaco Lee was like a brother to me he watched me grow up and was there when my dad died. He was my uncles brother and one of his most dear best friends. Joaco, Lori, Joshua & Rico, our apologies for not being there, but we were told about Joaco Lee yesterday Sept 14. There are no words that can calm your pain. That is a wound that will never heal; you just get used to live with the pain. Especially you Lori, talk to him because now he is the Guardian Angel watching over you guys.
We have a lot of good memories together that will never let him be forgotten.

I have so many beautiful, fun memories of Joaco. I will never forget him being the Pastor in the school play. He loved Bible time and was always the best at scripture memory.
