To Margaret and the Bowlus Family,
We first met Eileen at the Charismatic Prayer Meeting at Prince of Peace. She was warm and cordial and invited us to return. Since we were already familiar with the Charismatic
Renewal, we accepted her invitation and became part of the "Gift of Love" Prayer Group. Eileen was/is an inspiration as she shared with us how the Lord worked in her life each week.
Her humility and wisdom often touched us. Eileen was filled with joy and often fun to be with. She and her soul-mate, Pauline Schariter, loved to dance. When we would sing, "Bind us together, Lord...in love.", they were the first ones to join hands and dance. Eileen loved to tell eveyone about Jesus. She lived the words she spoke and God blessed her in the Power of the Holy Spirit.
In times of trial, especially as we age, Eileen's indomitable faith gave her strength and courage. She would simply say: "God is taking care of me." Indeed He did, and does.
We will all miss Eileen. Often, we prayed for her children and the family she loved. That will continue. We know we will be joining Eileen who, from Heaven, is watching over each of us and continuing to ask God for His blessing on all those she loves. May her legacy of ardent love, deep faith, and spontaneous joy be with each of you.
With heartfelt sympathy and prayer,

Janey, Dan and Anne Weimer

Dear Bowlus Family,

We first met Eileen in 1975 at Prince of Peace & have been with her at many church functions in most of the area parishes over the years. She was such a wonderful, nice, friendly lady. It was always a joy to spend time with her. I (Karen) am the oldest of 9 children, so I can easily identify with your family! Jim & I are big supporters of The Pregnancy Crisis Center. We send our love, prayers, & sympathy to all the Bowlus Family. You will be a comfort to one another and treasure all the memories of your precious family times together. God is embracing Eileen today and she is rejoicing in her new home!
