Patrick M. Carpenter

Patrick M. Carpenter of Port Orange, FL, died Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, FL at the age of 69. Pat is survived by his wife of 26 years, Diane Kane Carpenter, his daughter and son, Samantha Carpenter and Chad Carpenter, his granddaughter Taylor Carpenter, his great granddaughter Sadie Grace Sanford, his sister and brother, Cindy Trott and Meredyth Carpenter along with many wonderful nieces and nephews from Ohio to Florida. He is predeceased by his parents, Gerald and Evelyn Carpenter and his brother, Gary Johnson of Ashland, Ohio. Pat was born and raised in Ashland, Ohio and after serving in the US Marines, relocated to Florida. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, rooting for the Florida Gators and selflessly cared for many foster dogs over the past 10 years. At the request of Mr. Carpenter, there will be no service. However, should anyone wish to make a memorial donation, nothing would please Pat more than to donate to the "Ryan Bassett Memorial Scholarship" which was set up on behalf of his beautiful nephew, Ryan, who pre-deceased him many years before his time.
