When you think of an outstanding couple contributing to the greater good of our South Brevard Community look no further than Phil and Jean Farmer. They always opened their homes to fundraisers for The Haven, The Heart Institute, FIT and others. This is no small feat to prepare your home for hundreds of people to go through and they always did it with such grace and love. He will be greatly missed by so many and his legacy will live on forever. May your wonderful memories help you through the difficult times.
Love in Christ.

phillip and I were best-of-friends and classmates dating back to 1949 when we were in the sixth grade at William street school in Goldsboro n.c.we both lived on east elm street and would ride our bicycles to see each other quite frequently.we loved to hunt birds with our air rifles.my mother would make bird stew at our little bungalow house located at 1710 east elm street.we enjoyed fishing in the creek;cleaning our catch and frying them at our residences.we both loved to play baseball and as far as we were concerned we were good enough to play in the world series.
I haven't seen my close friend since a class reunion that was held many years ago at the country club in Goldsboro.phillip, you have left a legacy that will be impossible to match.thanks for being my friend for all of those years.your classmate carlton v. Sutton, jr.
