Richard Jauregui Obituary
Edgewater - Richard A. Jauregui, age 86, of Edgewater, died Friday, April 16, 2021 at Halifax Health Hospice, Edgewater. Born in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph Jauregui and Mary Zanich Jauregui. Richard came to the area in 2014 from Orlando. A tour bus driver and steel mill worker, he was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Orlando. Rich loved to play poker, go fishing and camping. Richard enjoyed playing basketball, chess and cards with his grandsons. He enjoyed visits with his granddaughters. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Survivors include his daughter Cathy (Robert) Jones of Edgewater: 2 sons, Ricky Jauregui, of Chicago, IL and Michael (Traci) Jauregui, of Orlando; ; 9 grandchildren, Shelby, Austin, Jessica, Alec, Anna Marie, Emily, Michael, Monica and Joey; great grandchildren, Lana, Riley, Mayson, Tyler, and Sagon; brother, Raymond (Tina) Jauregui, of Chicago, IL. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 63 years, Barbara; daughter Anna Marie, son, Nicholas and sister, Maryann Cook. Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Settle-Wilder Funeral Home. Friends will be received on Saturday, April 24, 2021 from Noon until the time of the service.
