Dear Loretta - I am so very sorry to hear about Bob. Though many years and miles have passed, I will never forget his wonderful sense of humor, his love of his family, and how he, and you, always welcomed me into your home. Dear Tuttle Family. We were saddened to hear of your loss. Our prayers go out to the entire Tuttle family during this difficult time. His life was most certainly a life worth celebrating. Angels have rejoiced many times over because of the people he came in touch with and influenced during his life. And now they are rejoicing his presence in heaven. Our love to all.

Loretta and Family, My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Bob was such a great man and a wonderful role model. I am grateful for the friendship that we have had over the years. Even though we have not seen each other for some time, you have always been in my thoughts and prayers. I am unable to attend the service today due to attending another service for a friend. Please know that I am with you in spirit and love.

Bob's contributions to our County and its citizens deserve both recognition and praise. In his political years he was a force of reason and balance, never losing sight of the responsibilities that election confers. In his other community activities he touched many lives in positive ways for which he never received all the recognition he -- and Loretta for her steadfast partnership - deserved. He will be missed, but remembered by those of us privileged to have known and worked with him.

Loretta,
I hope you and your family will find comfort in your memories of Bob.
I was a young Volusia County Firefighter/Paramedic when I meet Councilman Tuttle, he helped me immensely when I became President of the Firefighters Assoc. and gave me some good advise on how to navigate the channels of politics and County Government. I have a personal letter framed that still hangs in my home office that he wrote to me after I was involved in a career ending accident in 1997. He was definitely one of the good guys.

I remember Bob well when I was a young DBPD officer. Great conversations at King Tut's back in the 80s. So sorry to hear of his passing. My prayers go out to the family.
