Sean Keating Obituary

Memorial Mass for Sean A. Keating, 22, who accidentally died in his sleep in the comfort of his home Friday, March 31, 2006, will be 10 a.m. Friday, April 7, at St. Paul's Basilica Church in Daytona Beach with Sean's uncle, Father Kevin Cronin O.F.M., officiating. Family will receive friends at Lohman Funeral Home Ormond Thursday from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Sean was born April 12, 1983, at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach. He attended Our Lady of Lourdes Kindergarten, Long Street Elementary, St. Paul Basilica School and Atlantic High School where he graduated cum laude in 2000. He also attended DBCC. He is survived by his loving parents, Sue and Gerry Keating, Daytona Beach; sister, Jessie Keating, Tallahassee; grandparents, Carl and Betty McCoy; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Sean was a loving son, who enjoyed gardening, fishing, skateboarding and his pets. He had a sense of humor and a generous loving personality. He could talk to anybody like an old friend and he acquired many. Sean will be alive in our hearts forever. Share condolences with the family online at www.lohmanfuneralhomes.com. Sue & Jesse,
I think of our childrens early life and realize we were truly blessed with nice, caring, and fun loving children. So many touched their lives, as they touched others. Sean was very special to me because I got to see him early in school and I was also there when he finished school. He always put a smile on my face. I can not imagine the pain of losing Sean, but he will always be with us in spirit and in our hearts. I will treasure the many pictures I have of our children with grins and laughter on their faces and hold on to them fiercely. As Sean as proof you never take them for granted and live each day like there was no tomorrow, holding our children closely, no matter what their age, they will always be our sweet innocent children that we want to protect. If only we had that power to do so, we would have less grey in our hair. Our hearts go out to your family Sue.
Our deepest sympathies,
Tina, Roger, Adam, & Cheyanne Williams (Adam's daughter)
