TOM PERKOWSKI Obituary

Funeral Mass celebrating the life of Tom P. Perkowski, 53, of Ormond Beach, who passed away on Friday, May 7, 2010 at his residence, will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the St. Brendan Catholic Church, 1000 Oceanshore Blvd, Ormond Beach, FL 32176. His family will receive friends on Saturday, May 15, 2010 from 9:30 am until the 10:00 am Mass at the Church. Inurnment will take place at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church Columbarium, 4600 Belle Terre Pwky., Palm Coast, FL on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 5:30 pm. Tom was born on June 16, 1956 in Mineola, NY to the late Peter and Anne (Wighaus) Perkowski. He worked as the Assistant Center Manager at McGee Tire in Daytona Beach. Tom moved to Florida in 1983, coming from Queensbury, NY. Tom is survived by his 3 sisters, Diane Hernandez and her partner, Deborah Lindenberger of Queensbury, NY; Carol Perkowski and her husband, Jeff Whitaker of Sanford, FL; and Trish McCauley and her fiancé, George Penrose of Queensbury, NY; his nephew, JP McCauley of Queensbury, NY; and his very special friends, Brady Barry, Brad (Pappy) Francis, and Ed Lee. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Tom to the Halifax Humane Society, 2364 LPGA Blvd, PO Box 9035, Daytona Beach, FL 32120 or to the Humane Society of the donor's choice. This is the first I've heard of Tom's passing. We had not spoken for over 5 years but I never stopped loving him and never will. I am devastated and hope he knows/knew that I prayed for him every night even though we didn't speak...and that I will love him for eternity.
