Bernice Linman Obituary

Bernice Corene (Kasting) Linman died peacefully in her sleep on February 22, in Kansas City, Kansas. Bernice was born on June 17, 1934, in Crawford, Texas and was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Jerome Linman. She was an active member of the community in Buffalo, Missouri, where she and her daughter, Meg Linman Sawyer were recognized for raising registered Dorset sheep. Bernice is survived by her son, Leland Olaf and his wife Therese Kobe Linman, and their children, Bryan and Kate, of Kansas City, Kansas; daughter, Meg Linman Sawyer and husband Eric, and their daughter, Kristen, of Buffalo, Missouri; and daughter, Amy Linman Werland and husband Tod, and their sons Thomas and Jeffrey, of Springfield, Missouri; and her step-daughter, Becky Linman, also of Springfield, Missouri. She is also preceded in death by her step-son, Axel Linman. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 25, from 4 to 7 p.m. in Cantlon-Otterness Funeral Home in Buffalo, Missouri. Burial will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 26, in the National Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri..
