Kelly Wise Obituary
Mr. Kelly Lee Wise, age 48, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on December 5, 2014, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. He was born on May 13, 1966 in Springfield, Missouri to Clelly Joe Wise and Flora Lee (Daugherty) Wise.
Kelly was united in marriage to Patricia Rolufs on Thursday, May 16, 2002. He became a loving father to four sons and two daughters. Kelly was an amazing husband and father and never met a stranger. He was a Springfield City Utilities bus driver for eight years, and also a security guard and courier for St. John's Hospital for many years. Kelly's hobbies included hot rods, monster trucks, and 4x4 Jamborees. He was a member of the Ozark Mountain 4x4 Club. He was also a member of the Scenic Nazarene Church.
Kelly's mother, Flora, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia; four sons, Trenton Wise, Preston Wise, Kyle Wise, and Russell Wise; two daughters, Amy Robertson, and Laura Rolufs; his father, Clelly Wise; other family and many friends.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, December 8, 2014, in Meadors Funeral Home, Republic, Missouri. The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, also in the funeral home, with the burial following in Wise Hill Cemetery, Clever, Missouri. Kelly you touch my heart in so many ways since I moved here 8 mth ago all the talks the laughs we shared you have made huge impact on my 8yr old a three old he always said u were each other monsters an he goes that's my Kelly they loved you dearly I remember times I'd bought u lunch just cause I wanted to an we sat an talked on ur lunch an always in bus stories we shared you were great driver I will miss seeing you picking me up at. Kelly was a kind heart and gentle spirit with a genuine laugh and a twinkle in his eye, when talking about his children. As part of our Mercy family, he will always be remembered. My sympathy to his family.

I had the priviledge to work with Kelly in the Guest Services department at St. John's. He was my good friend and I will miss him. Heaven is a little brighter with Kelly there.

I am so sorry for your loss. Kelly worked at St Johns and I worked at the Spfd DMV/Downtown Springfield. He would come in to get license on the hospital vehicles. He always made me feel special. He will be missed.

Kelly's kindness to me as a bus passenger meant so much to me when I moved here just over 3 years ago. I was always impressed by his kindness to others. I am very sorry for his family's loss. He always spoke so well of his wife and children. Kelly will be greatly missed by all who knew him and I am sure by those who knew him the best. Rest in peace Kelly.

RIP.....I knew Kelly from the time he worked at St. Johns (Mercy) when i also worked there.... and then when he got the job as a driver for CU I rode the bus and still do and couldnt believe it and still dont to learn of his passing....was so filled with kindness to everyone and a good sense of humor.....He will be missed by all the drivers and passengers!!!!

I had the privilege to go to school with Kelly at Study, Central and work with him at St. John's. In all that time he was always kind, generous and thoughtful. Every time I saw him I could count on him making me laugh, feel better about myself and this difficult world. My deepest sympathy to his family. He was a great man and friend.

I came to know Kelly by riding the bus to work. He always knew everyone that got on the bus and exactly where they needed to go. He was a great friend and always made sure I was at work in time.

I would agree with all the comments left here regarding Kelly's kind heart. I was fortunate to work with him at City Utilities and Kelly had a big heart, kind to bus passengers and fellow employees. He was so proud of his family and had so much love for them - Kelly's passing will leave a huge hole in our world.

Kelly was one of the most kindhearted men you would ever meet.there is no one on this earth that could give you a bear hug like he could!
