Maurice Dale Lamb

Maurice Dale Lamb of Ava, Mo., son of Theone Lamb and Margaret Clement Lamb was born on September 30, 1936, in Mesa, Ariz., and passed away on May 31, 2008, in Springfield, Mo., at the age of 71 years. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; one son, Gordon Dale Lamb, Portland, Ore.; five daughters, Elizabeth Zitting, Springfield, Mo., Lee Ann Thomlinson, Wasola, Mo., Callie Welch, Jackson, Tenn., Jolene Parmenter, Norwood, Mo. and Jamie Hendrickson, Ozark, Mo.; 35 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four sisters, Ella Mae Sorensen, Joann Hathcock, Sandra Brown and Karen Rodgers; and one brother, Leonard Lamb. Services will be Saturday, June 7, 2008, 11 a.m., in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Ava, Mo., with the Bishop Roger Kjar officiating. Interment will follow at Ava Cemetery.
