Mike Lins

Mike Lins, 67, passed away on Oct. 26, 2013 in Springfield, MO. Mike was born in Akron, OH on September 30, 1946. He retired from Associated Wholesale Grocers. He graduated from The American School in France, Valley Forge Military School and Findlay College. Mike served in the Army from 1969-1971 with a tour in Vietnam. Jeanne & Mike were united in marriage Dec. 8, 1972 and were blessed with 3 children. He was preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Betty Lins. Mike is survived by his loving wife, daughters, Becky and Betsy, son, Brian, brother, Steve and the joy of his life, his grandchildren, Camden and Morgan Newsom and Caiden Bruce. A memorial visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home-East Wednesday, October 30, 2013. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to The Humane Society of Southwest Missouri.

Mike showed me a lot about being the best employee I could be. I never understood him at first but he always ended up being right. He never demanded respect but he sure did earn it. R.I.P. Boss.
