When I was a little girl, I always looked forward to going to "Aunt Dar's and Uncle Alger's." There was usually a party going on of some kind, lots of singing, laughing, and joy. I remember Alger always greeted me with a smile and enthusiasm. He had a sparkle in his eye and a godly joy that eminated from him. He loved the Lord and that was easy to see. I'm so glad I was blessed to have been able to call him "uncle".
