Andrew Nathan Denson
Andrew Nathan Denson, 49, of Evington, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006. He was the husband of Patricia Burnette Denson.
Andrew was born in Lynchburg March 21, 1957, a son of the late Mildred Austin Denson Lynch and the late Agee Otha "Buddy" Denson.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Renee Keyes Carr of Lynchburg; his grandchildren, Austin and Jenna Carr of Brookneal; his sisters, Della Horne and her husband, Charles, of Buckingham, and Melanie Tweedy of Evington; his brother, Donald Denson of Lynchburg; his special aunt and uncle, Rose and Alfred Hahn of Lynchburg; his sister-in-law, Deborah Harris and her husband, Johnny, of Lynchburg; his niece T. J. Stokes of Lynchburg; and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many wonderful friends, especially Bob Colinger.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Jason R. Keyes.
Andrew was a member of West Lynchburg Baptist Church, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and was employed by Schrader Bridgeport. He enjoyed hunting, 4-wheeling and camping.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg and other times at the home of his sister-in-law, Deborah Harris. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2006, at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Charles B. Willoughby officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, P. O. Box 1131, Fairfax, VA 22038-1131.
