Delford Barlau Obituary
August 5, 1932 - November 15, 2021
Age 89, Crystal, Minn., formerly of Hopkins, Minn. and Lynchburg, Va. Del passed peacefully on November 15, 2021, after a long period of failing health.
He is survived by his children, Kathleen Vogelpohl, Christopher Barlau, Jeffrey Barlau, and Tara Karnes, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents, Otto Barlau and Florella Rettman; brothers, Dennis and Duane; and daughters, Karen and Joni.
Honorable U.S. Army veteran 1954-56 stationed at Ft. Belvoir Va., Del will be remembered for operating several successful businesses in the Lynchburg area.
Due to COVID constraints, service shall remain private with interment held at Grandview Cemetery, Edina, Minn. In celebration of Del's cherished life, and in lieu of flowers, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to www.animalhumanesociety.org.
