Donald Weiglein Obituary
He was a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College, during which time he met his wife, Margaret, at neighboring Longwood College.
Dick is survived by his wife of 51 years, Margaret Blair Weiglein; daughter, Carrie Finch of Richmond, Va., and her children, Parker, Jacob, Amelia; sons, Michael Weiglein (Vail) of Prague, Czech Republic and their children, Presley, Ella, James, and Tom Weiglein (Ruthie) of Virginia Beach, Va., and their children, Saul, Granger, Zadie); and sisters, Elizabeth Wallace of Woodstock, Ga., Mary Anne Leonard of Newport News, Va., and Jean Chasse of Weare, N.H.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 25, 2023, from 6 to 8 p.m., and the funeral service will be on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 1 p.m., both at Tharp Funeral Home in Lynchburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Mercy Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 101 D Northwynd Circle, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
