I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Womacks passing. Your Mother was a wonderful woman who was great volunteer for the Red Cross. Your mother and father were very generous to the local Red Cross. They enabled us to provide service to those in need in the community they loved! They were so kind in so many ways I know they will be greatly missed by many. We feel very fortunate to have been included in their lives, they truly made a difference! I know you are proud of the lives they had.

Dear family members,
Charlie and I send our sympathy at your great loss. I personally worked very closely with Allen during the time he headed the Research and Development Division in Alliance. We worked together on his presentations, technical papers and his annual meetings with McDermott. He was an extremely intelligent leader and very much a perfectionist. I'm so sorry to learn of his passing. All of our best to you and yours.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Allen's passing. He was indeed a very special person. I worked with him during the B&W days when he was in Lynchburg, and more recently on the Board of Trustees for the Academy of Fine Arts. His leadership on the Board will help us to continue and achieve the goals he sought there.

Allen will be missed. A technical "genius", who got to the heart of every problem (even in areas that were not his specialty) and made the correct decision. I was amazed at how he remembered the names of engineers who he had not seen for a long time.

I have always enjoyed laughing and talking with Allen. He was constantly thanking me. I am a volunteer at the AFA. I will miss his personality, charm and, of course, his wit and smile. He was a very special person. God is enjoying his humor now. I am so sorry. Please accept my deepest condolences. Marsha Nadler

I worked for Allen when he was Vice President of R&D for B&W. He was the most thorough, demanding but fair executive that I had the pleasure to work for and when you had his support you knew it was honest sopport and probably correct as well.

I'm saddened by our loss. He was often in my thoughts.

Connie and Cynthia,

I was so saddened to hear of the loss of Allen. I worked with your Dad at the Rⅅ for many years. I thought highly of him - he was a very fair man and that's hard to find in industry anymore. Your Mom was the greatest. She was never "all about herself". When they moved to N.O., she invited me to "come stay with us". She was so very personal.
Connie - Every time I see you on TV I think of your Mother. You resemble her greatly. It makes me smile!
Cynthia - Grandkids are the greatest gift in the world, which I'm sure both Allen and Linda have told you. Your Dad called on his cell to work once and you could hear him talking with your oldest in the backseat about it being too early for french fries...during the conversation I over heard him ordering french fries at a drive thru. Made me laugh. When he made a decision at work, that was the end of it - see, grandkids ruled his world.

I will keep both of you in my prayers. I strongly feel your loss and it was a true pleasure to have known both of them.
