I'm so sorry to read of Gene's passing. He was a friend and a good guy during all the years we worked for Craddock Terry Shoe Corp at the headquarters building on the Expressway in the '70s and '80s. Gene always had an easy way about him, a smile on his face and in his voice, and a quip at the ready. It was a privilege to know and work with him back in the day. My condolences to Gene's family.
