Janice Witcher Obituary
Janice Laverne Witcher "Boobie", passed away peacefully on Monday, January 24, 2022, at her residence in Lynchburg, Va.
Born on May 26, 1952, she was the daughter of Virgie Payne (Jones) and the late Norvell "Doc" White.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her mother, Virgie P. Jones; a devoted and loving sister and nephew, Sheila D. Jones and Jalil D. Bowles, both of Lynchburg, Va.; a dear sister and niece, Kimberly W. Johnson, and Brittney Johnson, both of Atlanta Ga.; an aunt, Grace Sadler of Lynchburg, a devoted sister-cousin, Dorothy P. Davis (Roger), and loving cousin, Charlene P. Pannell, both of Lynchburg, Va., and a devoted cousin, Lamont Payne (Debbie) of Gainesville, Va., with a host of extended family, other relatives and friends that loved her deeply.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022, 1 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home Chapel, Lynchburg.
Interment will follow the service at Forest Hill Cemetery. The family requests that masks be worn by guests attending the service.

Rest in Peace to a Angel in disguise when her soul was on earth, now she is a angel in heaven. Janice had a since of humor that some people didn't know how to take her, but she loved everyone and the only one that I can say has helped 1000s of people over the years . R.I.P

My heart is broken to hear of the passing of my classmate Janice. Janice was such a precious soul to those who knew her. She always carried a smile and gave good advice. I will miss Janice.
