Ebo was my presenter at the Christchurch Hall of Fame Ceremony in 2002. I wrote a poem and gave it to he and Georgia. I´m going to send it now in an email to share in memory of a great classmate. Georgia you have both Elaine and my deepest sympathy;
As I sit here sipping my coffee
A thousand thoughts cross my mind
Searching, sorting always wondering
What exactly might I find
I don´t know what the future brings
But experience has taught me in the past
Compassion is one of the ingredients
That molds and makes a friendship last
So drink slowly from the spring of life
And count your blessings from above
Share these memories with your mate
For you have surely found true love.
