Larry Pillow Obituary
Larry was born September 5, 1967, in Mountain Home, ID, to Mary "Kitty" Reynolds Pillow of Altavista and the late Larry D. Pillow, Sr. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Jalufka Pillow; and his brother, Sean E. Pillow.
In addition to his mother, Larry is survived by two sons, Thomas D. Pillow and his wife, Brittany, and Matthew L. Pillow; one daughter, Tyra Fair; one stepson, Gregory E. Keefer; one sister, Karin Pillow Cross and her husband, Fred; four grandchildren, Devon James, Jason Keefer, Dakota Chapman, and Grayson Pillow; a special brother-in-law, Raymond Snyder and his wife, Grace, and daughter, Claire; special friend, Valarie Coffey; and his two beloved dogs, Griffin and Buster.
Larry had a big heart and loved his family deeply. He enjoyed any activity that brought them together. Playing games, cookouts, camping, water parks, roller coasters, canoeing, playing catch, and walking his dog, Griffin, daily at English Park. He was also particularly fond of animals, fishing, playing poker, and gardening.
Larry's memorial service will be conducted by Rev. David Bayse Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 2 p.m. at English Park near the Trail. The family will receive visitors any time at the home of his mother, 1264 Lynch Road, Altavista, VA 24517.
Memorial contributions in Larry's name may be made to Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, 1400 Edley Place, Lynchburg, VA 24502.

My sympathies and condolences to the family of my friend Larry. I got to know Larry through our jobs at Gabe´s and consider myself very blessed to have known him even for the short time I did. Our work space will never be the same and we will all miss Larry and his wonderful sense of humor very much. My heart is broken.
