I was so sorry to hear of Nancy´s passing. We went to school together in Lynchburg and our families were good friends attending Centenary Methodist Church.

What a sweet, sweet lady! Gone too soon! Dr. Thaxton was my two oldest children and my dentist for many years. Whenever we would go for our check-ups Nancy was the first person greeting us at the reception desk. Her smiling face would brighten our day. She had a way of making you feel good both at the office and when we would run into her elsewhere. I know she will be missed by many.
She was a beautiful angel on earth and now she is an even more beautiful angel in heaven. RIP

John and I remember Nancy and Larry from our time in the early 1970s. They graciously hosted us at their home in Lynchburg and the family cabin on Willow Lake. We considered her a friend, but we lost touch over the years. We are so very sorry to hear that she had been ill and is now gone. Our sincere and deep condolences to the family. She was beautiful and very kind.

I remember Nancy from willow lake . I became friends with her and her ex husband Larry from willow lake: I remember swimming over to their dock and hangout with her . Her Boston terriers were always very friendly to pretty much everyone they meet .

RIP to a wonderful woman whose kindness and friendship I will truly miss.
She was the only one who had the patience to teach me how to use a fly rod !
I feel very fortunate having had the chance to know her and call her a friend .

I worked with Nancy at a dental practice in the early seventies. I remember her beautiful smile and sense of humor. I am so sorry for your loss.
