Ora GLOVER Obituary

Ora Watson Glover

Ora Watson Glover, of Appomattox, died Jan. 21, 2009, at Appomattox Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Buckingham County on Nov. 23, 1914, she was a daughter of the late John R. and Bertha Wright Watson. Ora was a long time employee of the Appomattox Garment Manufacturing Co. and a lifelong member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Robertson; her daughter, Vivian Robertson; one sister, Jessie Robertson; and two brothers, John (Willie) Watson and Thomas C. Watson.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Highway 24, by the Rev. Jeff Worley.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Glory Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 1018, Appomattox, VA 24522.
