I just learned yesterday afternoon of Randy's--"Hopper's" death and have been spending alot of time thinking back over all the fun times we had. I haven't seen Randy in quite some time, but reflecting on those times has brought him back for awhile. I'm sure Deep Purple and/or Rainbow will be there for you in "Hobbit Heaven" with all your pets. You'll always be in our hearts and bring a smile we we think of you sense of humor. To his family, I am so sorry for your loss, and am so glad I knew him

November 24th Janet, Norm, and Sandy, I am so deeply sorry for the your loss of Randy. I wish that I could have been there with you all but i am still dealing with my loss of jimmy and am in North Carolina with my sister. God will get us all through these times I know, however, that does not make the loss any easier. I miss Jimmy so much but I realize that all the memories we made together can never be taken away from me, and I am sure that is true for you all as well with the loss of Randy. My deepest sympathy, thoughts, and prayers are with you and your family. I will hope to see you at church when I return to lynchburg. Again, with my deepest sympathy, Carolyn T. Foster

Thanks for 40 great years of friendship Randy, you were truly one of a kind. People of integrity and loyalty are too few in this world and you were always there for me when I doubted myself.
Thanks for believing in me, you'll never what a difference you made in my life and in those whose paths you crossed. The world has lost another genius. See you in the Grey Havens old friend.

My deepest sympathies to the Hopper family, I love you all.

What a loss my heart is breaking you Norman and Janet. I always claimed Randy as a special friend and will love him forever. I saw him last with his hansome son and he looked well. I am praying for you all. I will miss his dry humor and will plan to see him in heaven. God is in charge and we must yield. I will not be able to attend the service with deep regret. I am Vacationing in Myrtle Beach. I wish this was a mistake and he would still be alive just playing a joke on us all. love Lynn White I AM SORRY FOR THE LOSS OF YOU BROTHER DEREK SANDY AND BRYAN
