Sherlene Regina Boose, of Lynchburg, Va., entered eternal rest on September 14, 2025. Born May 16, 1965, to Mr. Kyle and Mrs. Barbara Ann Jackson, she lived a life rooted in faith, family, and love. A devoted member of Altha Grove Baptist Church and the Red Hatters, she found joy in worship, music festivals, interior decorating, and traveling with her loved ones.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara Ann Jackson; her children, Danielle (Victor) McDowell, Donelle Boose, and Ted (Shyann) Boose; grandchildren, Arianna, Amari, Zamari, Tyler, Noah, and Nahla; great-grandchildren, Tori and Tessa; siblings, Clarence Jackson, Kenneth (Kathy) Jackson, Calvin Jackson, and Sherwin (Clifford) Jackson; and many dear relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Kyle Jackson.
Viewing: Friday, September 19, 2025, at Community Funeral Home, 909 5th Street, Lynchburg, VA.
Celebration of Life: Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 11 a.m., same location.
As she often said, "God Got Me!" Now she rests with her Heavenly Father until we meet again. The family thanks Altha Grove Baptist Church and Community Funeral Home for their care and support.
"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith..." (2 Timothy 4:7-8)

You will be so missed. I knew at age 6 your were one the most good hearted funny and hard working moms ever. My first sleep over was at your house with your girls. I was so nervous you saw that nervousness and comforted me and told me it be ok and I would want to come back. And you were right I stayed around another 30 years lol. You have raise such awesome children into adults. I know you are so proud of all of them. Kudos to you job well done take your bow you definitely deserve it. I hope to raise my kids the same. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working with Sherlene before she left Source4, the picture is of the whole crazy crew on one of our pajama days. Sherlene was a wonderful lady, always thoughtful and so funny. She often talked about her family and God. I am proud to have called her my friend, she will be missed.
