Peter -
I was absolutely stunned by the tragic news you conveyed regarding Athena this morning. I was so pleased to have had the opportunity to share in the unbridled joy you obviously took in her life. May wonderful memories of the happy moments you were blessed to share with her be a source of everlasting comfort to you, your wife and your daughter...

Dear Victoria,
I have no words to console you and your family. You are so wonderful and have always been so positive when speaking about your beautiful Athena's illness.
I have admired your grace and strength and wondered how you managed to get through with such a sense of humor. May that strength and grace lead you through your deep loss to the other side of exceptance.
Athena is always with you.
I'll prey for you and your family.

Vicky,
My heart breaks for you and your family, but at the same time, I have such respect for the grace with which you are handling this. I wish you perspective, peace, and the knowledge that every moment of your little girl's life was filled with the safety and strength of a mother's love.

I will miss our little B so much. She was one in a million. Truly God's precious little angel and such a pleasure. I will never forget her and the happiness she brought me the moment I saw her born. I will miss her laugh, her adorable smile, her soft little voice when she spoke, watching her dance to her favorite shows and to The Bee Gees, fun times at the park, coming to Ya Ya's house and seeing the joy and happiness she brought to everyone who met her. She will be missed and loved forever. I love you with all my heart Vicki, Peter and Anastasia. May God strengthen you and the rest of our family, and cherish all of the memories we had with her.

This morning Bonnie told us about Athena. No words can be written or said that would help at a time like this. Have peace in knowing that Athena knew how much she was loved, that you did everything possible and that she will continue to be your angel. Our deepest and most heartfelt sympathy to you all. May you feel God's love and peace surround you during this very difficult time. To Anastasia, may you always know what a special big sister you were to Athena and how she loved you.

This morning as I was driving to work, Denise called with the tragic news of the passing of your angel. As our friendship has meant so much to me over the many years and as I've followed the growth of your family, I'm left both stunned and grief filled for you. Though I've never met Athena, I feel the loss as if it was my own.
