Dr. Royo was a very compassionate dr. I was so shocked to hear about his passing.. My gyn dr for years. I will miss him. Loved his chair side manner.

I was shocked & saddened to hear of Dr. Royo's passing today. A more gentle & compassionate doctor cannot be found. He really listened when you went to see him.....I. will miss him very much. My heart goes out to his family....the world has lost a sweet soul & a gentle man.

I too called for an appointment but I was only told he was no longer there. I went online to see if he was still practicing. I am so, so sorry to find out he passed. He was truly a very compassionate human being. He delivered my son who was born with bladder extrophy. Dr. Royo called me about a week after he was born (although my son didn't come home for a month and a half) We spoke on the phone for over an hour. There were other times where I felt like he was not only my ob/gyn but also my therapist. I could go on and on about what a wonderful man and Dr. he was. My sincere condolences to his family.

Had to schedule my yearly check up, and Dr Royo came to my mind I just looked up and this is what I find out that he is no longer with us . I have three boys but for my youngest
One he was my obgyn doc. Incredible human being, can't stop crying while writing this. You were an Angel

My deepest condolences to Dr. Royo's family. I had no idea that he passed away and called to make an appointment. I am deeply saddened. He was the most compassionate doctor that I've ever had.

I just found out that Dr. Royo passex away. I recommended him to my friend and when she called she was told. Last time i saw Dr Royo was in the plainview er when i rushed my 96 year old grandma there cause of chest pains. I was in the hall when i saw dr royo i.N a hospital gown. I asked what happened he said he was having chest pains. I met his beautiful wife a d kiddingly said well dont you die on me i dont want to find a new gynecologist. he was in good spirits. Now i hear this haplened. He was a great doctor, did 2 procedures on me perfectly amd was a genuine caring great doctor. May you now rest in peace.

I just found out that Dr. Royo passed away. I am in utter shock! My heart is saddened by this horrible news. He was the best OBGYN. So compassionate, gentle and always attentive. I will miss you SOOOOO very much Dr. Royo!

I am stunned to learn that my dear doctor Royo has passed! I have been a patient whom he helped medically and spiritually as well. He was such a down to earth human being who spoke softly to his patients and treated us with compassion and caring. Heaven has gained another angel and he will be missed dearly here on earth; but there is truth to the fact that each one of us has a path to fulfill here and his has been completed. My sincere condolenses to his family, whom he loved very much.

Dr. Royo was such a nice man and an amazing doctor.I got to know him well when he cared for me through my first two pregnancies which were back to back . At that time it felt like I was always in his office . He delivered my first child. That was 9 years ago.And I will always be grateful to him and will never forget him. He was the best of the best . I last saw him about a year and a half ago and he was just so happy to tell me about his children . Just recently heard the news of his passing . My heart breaks for his family. I want to give my deepest condolences. I feel so lucky to have known Dr Royo and to have been a patient of his ..saying a prayer for him and his family tonight ..

I was so saddened to be informed today of the passing of my most wonderful Dr. Royo. You were the most soft spoken, kindest and truly amazing gynacologist, I have ever been to. I cannot even remember how many wonderful years you have been my doctor, and I am truly devastated that I can no longer turn to you. You always spoke so beautifully about your family.....and your eyes lit up as you spoke of your youngest....your little girl. I remember before my twin grandchildren arrived, how you told me......don't worry, as long as they make it to 34 weeks, they will do fine! Ours made 35 weeks.....and I always think of you, as they are now thriving and healthy. My sincerest sympathy to your beautiful family.....you will most certainly be missed by everyone whose life you touched. Rest in Peace, Always.

My heart is broken over the loss of DR. Royo , he was an amazing man and took the up most care of me thru my pregnancy and years before . When I heard the news I couldn't help but break out in tears I had come in for a apointment September 10th and heard what happen. God has gained another angel . I just learned of Dr Royo's passing today when I went to the center to make an appointment. I was truly devestated. There will never,ever be a Dr. like him-so kind, caring and gentle. My prayers go out to his loved ones.

This is the 2nd site I found. I can't help but write again. Dr. Royo was so caring, patient, gentle and a great listener. He loved his family and even though I never met them it felt like I knew them because he always lit up when talking about them. He was also so interested in my children who he delivered. I have been going to him for 19 years so has my mother in law. Everyone will miss this wonderful Dr. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife and children.

Iam in complete shock and denial about the tragic passing of Dr. Royo. He has been my doctor for 20yrs. Within that time I had four kids, and even my two oldest teenage daughters were patients of his. He was absolutely the best doctor I had the privilege of being a patient to. He was the kindest, sweetest, most caring person I know. Dr. Royo truly cared about his patients. He has been there for me and my daughters throughout the years and I'am truly going to miss him dearly. My heart goes out to his family, friends and to all those who's lives he touched by being an amazing doctor to. Dr. Royo will always be in my heart and in my prayers. What a kind caring soul. thanks for all you did for me and my family. a nurse once told me it takes a special doctor to come out in a snowstorm in the middle of the night to check on their patient. you were that doctor! I was in shock when i found out today that he passed away. he was a great doctor and he has been my gynocologist since i was 17 yrs old. i saw him about 2 months,its hard to beiieve. he will be missed. my prayers are with his family. RIP

There are many good doctors in the world today, but no doctor compares to you Dr. Royo your compassion and kindness will always be remembered. I can recall one time in particular when I was in the hospital, I was not his patient he visited me when he made his rounds and asked how I was feeling. Not only was he a great doctor but he was a wonderful human being. He took care of me and my family for many years. Rest in peace sweet kind doctor

Dr Royo- I went through 5 doctors before I found "the one". You were the first doctor to actually listen to me and properly diagnose me. As a treating practitioner myself I know how stressful days can be; you were ALWAYS kind, considerate and compassionate. You were such a gentle, warm individual. I am so sad to hear of Dr. Royo's passing. He was my doctor for 20 years. He was the kindest, most gentle man and always genuinely listened to my concerns. With numerous procedures, pre-cancer scares, and an emergency room visit due to hemorrhage, he was always the most comforting doctor ever to me during these times and helped me through. God bless you and may you rest in peace in the arms of the angels.

I was shocked and saddened today to find out that Dr. Royo passed away. Dr. Royo has been my obgyn for 20 years, and is by far the most compassionate, caring, and kind doctor I have ever come across. From day 1, he remembered your name, husband's name and after all these years, all three of my girls names. My heart hurts for the loss of such a great dr., person, husband, and father. Thank you isn't enough for saving my life some 5 years ago. You took such good care of me and managed to hold my hand en route to the OR for emergency surgery telling me "It's going to alright, you will be fine". You became my savior and friend and I will always be eternally grateful to you and thank you for being the Doctor so well respected by all.

Dr. Royo - mere words cannot express how I feel at your passing. Your were the physician who saved my life some 5 years ago (literally). I will always remember your words and holding my hand while I was being wheeled into surgery and so thankful that you brought in Dr. Price & Dr. Fitterman.

Dr. Royo, thank you for being my doctor for over 15 years and literally holding my hand through my c-sections (and with complications). I didn't believe the person that told me so, I searched and searched Google for your obituary for 2 hours, and nothing.
If I have proof -- Then and only then, would I believe this bad news. I was devastated when I was called yet again, but this time from my son. I don't know who I'll see as my doctor now because you are a very, very hard act to follow. ??????I will miss you terribly. Thank you for all that you ever did for me and my family.
