Dave was my first nephew, and the first and only baby I actually enjoyed babysitting for. He was a real sweet kid. My oldest friend, Artie, started calling him the "Boop", which made Dave laugh. Whenever his parents would drive by on their way somewhere, Dave would point and say "Boophouse". I moved away some years after, and didn't get back to visit as much as I'd like. I'll miss him terribly.

David Alm was a very good friend of mine. I first met him in third grade when he first moved to ridge after moving from patchogue. We became better friends in the high school years. He was smart and Intelligent. We went on the senior trip and played video games together and even got him a summer job at splish splash. We had a lot of fun together. Since I moved to florida I was planning a trip back to NY in 2 years hoping to see everyone again. This is very hurtful to me. Dave was one of my best friends and treated me as an equal and I respected that greatly. Dave will never be forgotten in my eyes. I would like to let Dave's family to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sincerely,
Daniel Mitchell
