Dennis was one of the first vets on the team that took this rookie under his wing back in 1988. He made you feel like you were a life long friend and part of his soul. He would walk into the locker room on on the field and you knew that today was going to be a very good day. Whenever I need a pick me up that is all I need to put a smile on my face.

Dennis was a great teammate and friend. His greatest strengths were displayed from his sick bed. If I called or visited him, he deferred your concerns for him and immediately began to ask about my family in particular my son Dante. He always wanted to know the status of the PD football team and if possible a play by play description of the Fire game.when things appear gloomy in my life, I remind myself of the courage Dennis displayed these last 8 years.
