To the family of Mr. Moreland, please know how great his legacy is and how inspirational he was. I was lucky enough to sit on the stool alongside him during music class at Lakeside, where his enduring legacy started. Now in my 33rd year as a teacher, I credit Doug for being one of those who made me *want* to be a teacher. May he rest in eternal peace, may his memories bright light to your days, and may you--his family and friends--know how wide the ripples of his influence stretch.
