A nice Spring day in New York brought me many years back. I searched for an old friend whom I remembered fondly. Now I am so sad. Ed was very funny and clever at 18, 19. There were good times had with the big Lithuanian, listening to Bowie, meeting pretty girls. God bless his family and old friends.

Ed had a huge impact on everyone he met. I know in my heart that we have all been blessed by knowing him. His knowledge, support, anecdotes, and humor enriched our lives. He will be missed sorely, but our memories of him will flourish. I love you so much Uncle Ed. You were the coolest uncle ever.

Ed was only 4 years older than me. As a kid, I always loved visiting him and everyone else in New York. Grandma would always let Ed and I sleep in the basement(it was a treat to me) and we always had a blast. I have the best memories of Ed and I when we were kids...fireworks in the street...going to the pool...spending time together out that the sump...memories that I will cherish forever.
Ed...you were my favorite uncle...I will miss you dearly.

We will pray for Ed's soul and for Danielle and the children. Allessandra and Dillon, remember that your Dad is your guardian angel now. He is watching you, loving you, and protecting you all the time. We love you, too.

Edward was a friend, neighbor, a Chef, a carpenter, and most of all my favorite uncle.

I met Ed through my dad, William. My dad owns MAC Market in DC and Ed went on a family fishing trip with us once in the summer. I will always remember his scary stories and all of our conversations about the most random things, as well as his amazing stories of his childhood. I've only known Ed for a short period of time, only about 5 months... but in those 5 months, he became one of my friends and someone who will always protect me. I miss you, Ed...

One night in St. Leonard as we lay looking up at the stars overhead on the hood of our cars I got to know the true soul of Ed - I will miss him.

Ed was a familar face in the old days at Notre Dame. I was in elementary school with his sister, Monica, but Ed was the one who was part of the "Notre Dame Gang." I can remember Away Weekends and Coffee House and Semi Formals and all sorts of events that Ed attended. He was definitely a face from my younger days and I am so sorry to hear this sad news.

Ed and I dated way, way back in college. We had some real fun times. Even though we haven't seen each other in many years I still think fondly of him and our friendship. May he rest in peace.

This is such sad news! I went to Notre Dame Elementary School with Ed ... I can picture his smiling face ... I can remember cheering for him at the 7th and 8th grade basketball games! Although I have not seen him in over 25 years, this breaks my heart!

Edward was my former husband. Several years after our divorce, he became a good friend to me, as I hope I was to him. He was a loving father to both his children, Alessandra and Dylan. He will be missed.
