Gary Walsh Memoriam

GARY MICHAEL WALSH
2/22/61 - 3/9/81
To our dear brother, Gary
Today would be your 45th birthday,
you're forever 20 to us. Our hearts
were broken the day the Lord called
you home. Picture you surfing,
playing lacrosse and football, with
Mom and Dad cheering you on.
You're always in our hearts,
smiles, laughter and our tears.
We love and miss you all so much,
John, Dennis, Colleen and Maureen

A Poem from Moe ( as you'll see not a Poe)

Being Garys sister
I am a lucky one,
From when you were a youngster
Till God chose to call you home

You were born to John and Mickey
and little did they know,
What a special little baby
they had that winter day.

You never judged a person
by the clothes or looks or money
Thats why you were not lonely
and surrounded by so many.

My memories of you are golden
which brings to mind one day..
It was summer on Long Island,
The 3rd of July they say.

We had a 6 of Molson,
So drank and talked and laughed..
Ran out before we knew it
A bike within our path

So we sat upon our 10 speeds
And head for the road
Were home before we knew it
With beer inside our load

Our eyes they started to tire,
So we said goodbye, goodnight
God bless you brother Gary
I'll miss you all my life.

Some people come into our lives and we are better people for having known them. When they are gone, all that is left are black & white photos and bitter sweet memories of a friend taken away too soon.

I always felt you were looking out me and take comfort in believing you are still are.

My god bless and hold you in the palm of his hand. We miss you more than words can say.

Peace,

Mary
