Dear Bard, John and Charlene, we are so very sorry to hear of your father's passing. He truly was a wonderful man with a benevolent and loving soul. We loved him dearly. Each of us have fond memories of him. From speaking to us in his 'Donald Duck' voice to his exubrant laughs, he taught us how to enjoy special moments. Your father had a nack of capturing those moments forever. (Personally I have couple of his audio/video recordings.)
Our most recent memory of your parents was at our nephew's Cole Barrett's baptism. Before leaving, Aunt Carol and Uncle Jim gave each of us the most loving and embracing hug. They wanted the good feeling of that moment to last a lifetime. It is a hug I will never forget.
In our hearts we know that Uncle Jim is in heaven with our Father. His soul is at peace as he joins your mother and ours. Please know that our prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
All our love,
Barrett Family

Dear Kathleen/Bard, Charlene/Joseph and John, I was so sorry to hear of your father's death. He was a lovely man, and I have a lot of fond memories of him. The last time I saw him was when when Aunt Louise died; he stayed with my sister Julie and her husband George, and we had a nice visit with all the McCarrolls that were able to attend that funeral. At last he is with his beloved Carol. I am so sorry for your loss. God bless you all.

We are so sorry to hear about Uncle Jimmy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. My father is full of sadness and grief to hear this news. As the last surviving sibling of that generation, it is very hard for him (at 80 yrs of age) to accept and understand. My father has always spoken fondly of his siblings and of his childhood. He never lost that connection with them, even if at times it was restricted to only in his heart. As his family dwindled down from 10 siblings to two, my Dad clung even more to Uncle Jimmy and to the connection that they had. They were the only ones left. Now my Father , with an extremely heavy heart, will say goodbye to his last sibling, his Brother Jimmy. He is physically and mentally unable to attend any of the services, but please know that he will be there in spirit and mind. He loved his Brother Jimmy!! God Bless to you all!
