John was a power of example for living life. Dedicated, strong & sincere in his beliefs. He walked the walk, & led by example. A winner who took it one day at a time. John will be missed by many who touched many. May God rest his soul, peace be with him & his loving family. God Bless.

My father was a loving parent, husband, brother, uncle, grandparent, friend and mentor to many. He had a very unique sense of humor that was enjoyed by many in his company. He was a loyal visitor to field two at Jones Beach where he found a deep joy swimming in the ocean. He was an an avid Times Crossword puzzle champion, where he enjoyed a daily word challenge and victory. He was a devoted union vice-president for Local 1 Lithographers in New York City for many years and truly believed in a collective advocacy to get what was right for all workers. He was a passionate Brooklyn Dodgers fan and New York Jets fan as well. He rooted through disappointment and had cynical jokes to ease losses and enjoy victory. He also enjoyed horror films and saw every film good or bad ever produced. He will be missed on many levels by me and many others. May he rest in peace.
