I cant believe that Gorilla Heed passed 12 years ago. I first met Jack at Brooklyn Law School in 1971. To this very day, Ive never had a friend who was as loyal, trustworthy and good natured as Jack was. It was my great honor to have known him.

May He Forever Rest in Peace.

I have worked in the same building as Jack for many years. I have never met his family, but feel like I know them since he loved talking about his family so much. I will miss talking with Jack everyday but I know he is in a much better place. My deepest symptathy to Jack's family. Rest in peace Jack. You will be forever missed.

Jack was a great person. He looked after and loved my sister (Kristy) as his own. He was like a 2nd dad to her and has always been there for her. She really loved working for him. This has been and will be very hard for her for a long time. Jack was such a kind, layed back, funny guy. I looked forward to his emails knowing I was going to have a good laugh. My boys loved his office..... full of gorillas. We will all miss him very much. He will be loved and missed forever. Joanne and the rest of the family, and friends our prayers and thoughts are with you always.....Goodbye Jack!!!

We send our deepest condolences to Joanne and family. Our daughter Kristy worked for Jack. She couldn't have asked for a better 1st. boss. Kristy thought of Jack as a adoptive dad and that is how he treated her. It made moving out of state easier knowing Jack was watching over her for us. He was a wonderful man and friend.May God give you all comfort and a peace that only he can through this time of mourning. R.I.P. Jack You will be missed.

I worked with Jack in the same building and although I didn't know him well, he made an impression on everyone he met and knew. He was a true gentleman. When they say God takes only the good, they meant Jack. I would sit or stand with him at smoke break time and listen to stories, watch him play his game or talk with Loretta. He will be sorely missed. He was such a true person and a wonderful man. My thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family. He was one in a million.

I want to send my deepest condolences to the family. I have worked for Jack for the past 4 1/2 yrs and thought of him like family. My family lives out of state and Jack always looked out for my well being and basically took me under his wing. I appreciate everything he did for me and I will miss him greatly. If there is anything that I can do for the family please let me know. R.I.P Jack...u are forever in our hearts, prayers and thoughts!

My deepest sympathy to JoAnne and all of Jack's family. It is so hard to believe that such a Gentleman has left us. I have known Jack for about 16 years and he was truly a very good friend. We shared so many stories about work, our families, the world events, and last but not least, "The Yankees". We met everyday, a few times a day, Jack with his cigars, and me with my cigarettes. We had our summer spots, our winter spots and our rain spots at the building. He talked so much about his beloved JoAnne, his in laws, his brothers and their wives, and of course his precious, Craig and Courtney. How he was always trying to get the best of those kids, when he always knew they got the best of him. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for them. His whole face would light up when taking about them.
Please just know that he was respected and loved by everyone whose life he touch. He will be sorely missed.
Rest in Peace, my dear friend.
