Dear John,

It is with sincere sadness that I send you and your family this note expressing my sympathy on the passing of your father. It is never easy when we loose a loved one irrespective of their age. Again, please accept our sympathy from my family to yours. "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning".
