OK, let's get one thing straight, I WAS HIS FAVORITE, so you can all stop fighting. Really, that's just how John made everyone feel. You were just as important to him as he was to us. I have known John for more than half my life and there is not one negative thing I can say about him. He loved his family very much and they meant the world to him. Anyone who was able to know John was a very lucky person, I for one feel very luck to have known him and been able to be apart of his life. John will be missed and will never be forgotten.

Johnny, You were always kindhearted and smiling whenever I encountered you. I am happy and lucky to have known you. I know that your family will miss you terribly. I also know that you will be watching over those you loved so much. God bless "Uncle Johnny" and his family.

HEY DAD,
YEAH, I KNOW...IT'S ME AGAIN, BUT I WILL SHARE THIS STORY WITH OTHERS BECAUSE THEY SHOULD FEEL THE JOY I DID WHEN I SAW YOUR FACE WHEN JOSEPH WAS BORN, YOU WERE IN SUCH AWE AND SO WAS I!!!

Johnny was the first member of the Timmins family that I met down in Breezy Point at the Sugar Bowl, before my sister married his brother Bobby and before I met his "uninteresting brother Eddie" or George or Jimmy.
Johnny took after his mom's side of the family in looks but had his dad's spunk.
I made pizza at the Sugar Bowl with John and he was a very kind, good hearted person.
As the years went by I was always impressed by his love for his wife Feeney and his children.
I can see by the photos that he was the best grandpa anyone could ask for and it is truly a loss for everyone that he passed so young.
My love and condolences to the family.

DAD,
WORDS CAN'T EXPRESS WHAT I AM FEELING RIGHT NOW BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE THERE, YOU SHOULD BE HERE WITH US. BUT I KNOW THAT IF YOU ARE WATCHING ME NOW, I WANT TO SAY THAT I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND SO DOES JOSEPH. WE ALL DO AND WE MISS YOU SO MUCH. I KNOW THAT I SHOULD GO WASH MY FACE NOW FROM THE TEARS, BUT THESE TEARS I SHED ARE BECAUSE I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE NOT HERE WITH US, I NEVER GOT TO REALLY TALK TO YOU OR SEE YOU ENOUGH AND I HOPE THAT YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVED YOU. YOU WERE AN AMAZING DAD AND GRANDFATHER (POPPA JOHN ) TO ALL OF THE KIDS, BUT YOU WERE LIKE A DAD TO JOE AS WELL. WE MISS YOU AND ALWAYS WILL. I WILL WRITE OFTEN JUST SO YOU KNOW THAT I AM HERE THINKING OF YOU. ALWAYS KNOW THAT WE ALL LOVE YOU SO MUCH, YOU WERE THE BEST DAD EVER.

John was an awesome man. A gentle soul, for sure.
My Poppop, James H McKillop, had been one of the original captains on the Staten Island Ferrry. I had given John copies of letters and things I had from my grandfather. John got a kick out of them. He was so thrilled to have them and he said he hung them up on the job.
John always had a smile on his face and laughter in his heart. I was so sorry to have heard of his passing.
He will be missed by many of Bill W's friends.

On the few times I met your Dad, I was always inspired by how happy he appeared when he was surrounded by his family: big ones, little ones, and all in between.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
