My deepest sympathy goes out to Joseph's family, Veronica & children and Maryann. My prayers are with you all at this difficult time. The last time I saw Joe was at his uncle Bill's funeral. May they both rest in peace together. Bill loved him like a son. Know that they are in a better place.

Veronica, I am so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you and your family. Please remember to tell your children, that Daddy is in a place where he feels no pain and is looking down on them from above with a smile on his face as he watches them continue to grow. May The Lord bless you during this time of sadness.

It seems like only yesterday that we first met Joe & Veronica. I actually remember the day we moved into our new house on Yeoman Drive almost 5 yrs ago. (Joey was just a newborn..) I remember seeing Joe & Veronica waving to the "new kids" on the block & seeing Joe's big smile & Veronica's loud "hi". LOL.. It seems like only yesterday...
We became good friends & had lots of funny memories to share & remember. Even though these past 3 yrs were rough on Joe, he always was determined to get the job done. Whether it was snowblowing with my husband & their competiton over who had the biggest blower to the time when we would all go Trick O Treating. We had lots of fun. Those times will be missed a lot.
We love you, Joe & miss you with all our hearts. It was too soon to see such a great guy, friend & father leave us, but we know you are looking down on us with that smile of yours watching over us. May you rest in peace... You may be gone, but NEVER forgotten!!!
And Veronica, we are ALWAYS here for you & the kids whenever!! Not only a phone call away, but a few feet away. You are all in our thoughts & prayers!! XOXO Love ya, Lu

Joe,
I never imagined we would ever have to face this day. Not that I could have ever prepared myself...You were like a brother to me, we had so many good times and laughs together. I just hope you are at peace now. Since you've been sick you hav'nt been the same. I want to remember the "old Joe". Always working... Always moving. Doing things you enjoyed..Playing with your children, Hanging with my SIS. Just want to tell you and my sister that you both have always been there for me and I want to let you both know that I truly appreciate everything you have done for me.
Veronica, just keep your chin up. Alyssa & Joey need you more than ever. I'll do what I can to help both you and them.
I love you always & forever Joe and you will always be with me. I do not want to say goodbye. So come visit me often.. Till we meet again. You are at peace now.
Love your
sister (in-law)

I didn't know Joe for very long but I'm happy to have known him for that short time and was able to call him my brother-in-law. He was like a big brother to Stacey and took her in when she had nothing. He loved Katelyn like one of his own and wanted nothing more than to see his kids grow old. I know you are now on heavens highway cruzing top down, elbow out the window with that big smile on your face, till we meet again.

I learned only today of Joe's passsing, and am saddened. I think back of our expieriences at Tyree where I first met Joe. Sure there were those crazy days, but we were all there for each other. It was truly a family, losing joe is troubling for me as he was a friendly, jovial person who gave the extra effort when needed.
My prayers are with his family.

To Joe’s family, I am deeply saddened by your loss. Please accept my condolences. I am both stunned and saddened by this news. I had no idea Joe was faced with this awful disease. It reminded me how much can be gone in a moment. It also let me play back my memory of all the good times with a great guy which I and the rest of the gang at Fredonia were able to experience with Joe. He will be greatly missed.

My god. Seeing Joe's face brings back so many good memories. We were good friends in high school. I remember driving around in his "thing" like it were yesterday. It is sad to me that he will no longer brighten the lives of those he loved, those that loved him and those that will never get the opportunity to meet him. My heartfelt sympathies to his family. Deepest sympathies tonight for my Fredonia college buddy Joe DiMaggio's family. This is for my friend Squatch, you will be missed, but what a slew of great times we had. Even though we did not keep in touch after school. mostly my fault actually, not a day goes by I don't remember something fondly about my time in Fredonia, of which he was a huge part. Your pal Sven.
