Dear Harold,Joan and Family,

It is hard to believe that it will be a year since Leonard has left us. I miss him very much and remember his kindness , warmth and funny jokes. I have been thinking about him alot this summer as I am sure you have been and wanted to let you know he is in my thoughts during this mid summer time.

Dear Harold, Joan and Family,

I will always remember Leonard as a warm and kind man. He was always sharing so many wonderful stories and experiences from his life. He would go into such detail about these experiences that I was very amazed about how he could remember them all. I will always remember him sitting in the living room at Cove Neck listening to our brass quartet rehearsals and reading the New York Times. He enjoyed listening to all of our rehearsals and seeing what special holidays we were preparing for.

I will always remember seeing him in church and afterwards sitting on the side during coffee hour and talking with everyone.

Leonard was a warm and friendley man who cared about you as a person. I will miss very much his warmth and kindness. He loved music very much and the joy of the church services. I will keep him in my heart for the rest of my life.
