My Beloved Matthew,
My husband, protector and best friend. It's 9 years ago God brought you home. I miss you everyday but, it's the most simple things. Our love was grand, yet it was simple to love you! To be able just to have a cup of coffee and have our talks would mean the world to me.
Shawn and Katie speak of you almost daily. Your children miss you very much. They loved you also.
Another year will pass, I will continue to take care of your children. I will go on but, I look forward to the day we will be united. Even in death, grand love will never die.
God bless your soul. I still feel you near. I still clearly remember all the lines in your hands.
Forever yours, Debra

MY MATTIE, It's been 5 years since you've passed on. Many days feel like I live in a nightmare. Yet when you left us, it feels recent.
Thank God for me, you gave me 3 wonderful children I'm not alone. Life is not & will never be the same without you. I miss you so much.
The kids are missing you too and they speak of you often. There are some days it hurts so bad when they want you here with us. They want to go 1 more place. I'm thinking maybe you will be there waiting for them.
Hug the ones I love so much, I think of them all.
When I'm down I recall your hands. I still feel them in mine. I know every line, how they feel and your nails. They are very strong hands. In your death-you're still the most powerful man! You know, see everything & mostly the TRUTH...make it GOOD!
You have my love for the end of time. Debbie

"My love and support will always be here for you."

I AM NOT GONE

I remain beside you
just in a different form
look for me in your heart
and there you will find me
in our love which forever lives on

In those moments when you feel alone
Look for me in your thoughts
And there you will find me
in sweet memories that burn strong

Mrs. Cody, My condolences to you and your family. I just learned of Mr. Cody passing this afternoon. We often passed each other on the highway or in a local shopping center parking lots after Dillon graduated and it was always great to see him. His smile was so genuine. Privileged to know Matty as a colleague and mentor from SLK, but most off as a gentleman and a friend.

I hold dear to so many memories from those years and the quote that comes to mind when I think of Matty is from Abraham Lincoln ... "With malice toward none, with charity for all."

God bless you, Matt, Debi and children.

Debbie and family...when you feel weak with grief, look towards Jesus, for He is holding Matt very close to Him now. Ask and you shall receive...He will give you strength to get through these rough and sad times. He Loves you and the children as much as He loves Matt, and will help you through this. And KNOW that Matt is happy to be in His Loving Arms, and preparing the way for the rest of his loving family, until you all are reunited again someday. I will keep you all in my prayers. xo
